Community Development Bank Ilhamar -Matarandiba
The Community Development Bank (BCDs) is constituted based on a decision by the community itself, which makes the manager its owner. They always operate with two lines of credit, one in reais and the other in current social currency.
The Community Development Bank's main objective is to promote territorial development, by encouraging the creation of local production, commercialization and consumption networks, based on support for solidarity economy initiatives in its various areas, such as: social productive, social and provision of services, support for marketing (wineries, grocery stores, bars, shops, solidarity economy fairs, etc.) organization of consumers and / or users of services. Within this context, the Community Development Bank Ilhamar was inaugurated in 2008, with a view to offering financial and solidarity network services, of an associative and community nature, aimed at generating work and income, based on the principles of solidarity economy, since then, the local social currency Concha started circulating in the community of Matarandiba
